Q. What is a referral ?
A. A referral is gained when someone signs up to a freebie site under your unique referral ID and they complete one of the sponsored offers.
Q. Are there any free offers ?
A. Yes, the LoveFilm is an offer whereby you don't need to pay anything. If you do this offer you need to make sure you complete the free 14 day correctly (you need to receive and return a DVD for the offer to complete).
Q. What are the best offers to do ?
A. Personally I think that the Gala, Coral & MyLotto24 offers are good because they are only £5 and you can even win your money back (I personally won £15 back after I signed up to MyLotto24). Another good offer is the Books Direct, with this offer you will receive Richard Hammond 'On The Edge' and Jeremy Clarkson 'Don't Stop Me Now' for just £1.99 a saving of £37.
Q. I've completed an offer but it is not showing as being complete ?
A. Some of the offers can take up to 14 days to show as completed but most credit within days or even hours. If it still doesn't show as completed, you will need to contact the freebie site via the support section for them to investigate.
Q. Do I need a credit/debit card ?
A. You may do on the offers that require payment i.e. MyLotto24 requires a £5 payment.
Q. Can I refer someone I live with ?
A. No. You are only allowed one account per household. The IP address is logged when you sign up, this prevents you from signing up to the same site more than once from the same computer. However if you have a family member or friend that don't live with you, then they maybe referred.
Q. Will these freebie companies pass on my details for spamming ?
A. No, all of the companies have a high reputation and security and privacy of data is something that they regard highly on their agenda.
Q. Am I safe giving my personal info to the freebie sites ?
A. Yes, the only info that the freebie site will have is your home address, which is needed to send you your gift. Any personal details e.g. bank or credit card details are only given to the advertisers sites e.g. Gala/Coral/Lovefilm etc so you can be assured of your financial safety.
Q. Are the offers really free or just £5 to £10 ?
A. Yes, most really are. There are also dearer ones that can be done if you prefer but I don't think £5 is a lot to pay for the freebie of your choice, do you?
